There’s nothing better than a fast food breakfast when you’re feeling a little worse for wear.
You might opt for a few hash browns or a McMuffin in a bid to turn your hangover around, but KFC may have just changed the game with its ‘Kentucky Fried Brekky’.
It showed off the creation with a video on it’s KFCAustralia Instagram page, racking up thousands of views as it said: “Start your day right with a Kentucky Fried Brekky. Colonel’s orders.”
Unfortunately, it won’t be served up in restaurants and requires fans to take a DIY approach – but judging by the incredible results, it’s well worth the effort.
What you’ll need
Two KFC Zinger Fillets (or as many as you want to make)
2/3 cup of smashed avocado or guacamole
Six cherry tomatoes
KFC’s Supercharger sauce
How to make it
Prepare the smashed avocado by mixing it with lime juice, salt, pepper and coriander to the desired taste – or simply use pre-bought guacamole
Cook the bacon until it’s crispy
Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place on top, before crumbling on some feta, adding the bacon and finishing it off with a drizzle of Supercharger sauce
KFC fans couldn’t wait to try it out for themselves, as one replied: “How freakin good would this be though.”
A second said: “Looks devine.”
However, some people had other concerns, as another stated: “I can feel the heart attack.”
A fourth added: “Start your day with severely clogged arteries.”
If you prefer to sit back and let KFC do all the work, the fast food chain announced this week that 100 UK restaurants have reopened their dine-in experience.
